Crafting compelling content that leaves them wanting more! 

Last month, I conducted a marketing content audit and strategy workshop for one of my clients who has been operating for a year.

🎯 Their goal was to enhance their content to target a more high-end audience. But they were not sure where to start. We assessed their online platforms, analysed competitors, and examined industry trends.

 1. Understand your target audience 

  • Get to know them, talk to them, and ask them what they like and what they don’t

  • Build a clear persona of who you are appealing to, give them a name and an image

  • Use your audience persona to question what you create and whether they will care about it

 2. Create compelling content 

  • Understanding what they are looking for - you want them to want to hear more from you

  • Craft content that is not only interesting and informative but aligns with their interests & needs

  • Once you have an engaged audience you can even ask them what more they want to see from you

 3. Utilise SEO strategies for visibility 

  • Optimise your content with relevant keywords, meta tags, and descriptions to improve its search engine ranking – this can be across websites, social, blogs etc

  • Incorporate best practices will increase organic traffic to your website, attract more visitors, and ultimately drive higher levels of engagement

 4. Leverage the right social media platforms 

  • The right channels mean you can reach a wider relevant audience, drive traffic to your website, and foster meaningful interaction with your followers. 

  • Don’t forget community management and engagement, if you want to cultivate a strong online community and boost engagement levels, be present

 5. Measuring success and adjusting 

  • Understand what resonates with your audience and what can be improved. 

  • Tracking KPIs & gaining valuable insights into the effectiveness of your content. 

  • Make smart decisions based on insights to optimise your content strategy, and continuously improve the engagement levels


🔄️This process is continuously evolving and is not a one-time task.


Regularly revisiting your audience throughout the year is crucial to observe changes, progress towards your goals, and shifts in engagement. Setting aside time for review and refinement is essential.
