What's your most productive work environment?

I was scrolling Instagram over the weekend and saw a new business tagged in my local town which I had not heard of before, and discovered a café I had been to a couple of years back was now a co-working space!

😊 I was delighted!

Since becoming a freelance marketing consultant my work locations have generally been either my home office, my clients' offices or the odd café here and there.

💡 On Monday I went over to the co-working space for the afternoon with a specific task in mind, one which I keep putting further down the list. I needed some headspace to work on the HCxConsulting strategy, refining the business objectives and my goals for 2025.

🧠 I think about my business and where it's going every day!!! But since launching my marketing services have evolved and I wanted to take stock of what I have achieved, and analyse the recurring key services my clients need from me.

One of the things that stuck out to me since setting up my consultancy is the ability to split my time per client in a way that suits my working style. I love having time to think and reflect on ideas and strategies, that could be just 20 minutes walking the dog, or it could be splitting my time over 2 days or more.

⌛ I work best when I have time to reflect, process my ideas, question why I am doing things that way, and have time to seek other opinions and this allows me to deliver my best work for my clients.
